Short answer

To get more bookings with Google Reserve, treat the button as the last step, not the first. A nail salon listing needs a clear profile, a menu that matches the chairs, and a book that can accept the tap. On Bukkii that book is Calendar at $20/month, unlimited staff and unlimited customers, Google Reserve included. Get Calendar — $20/mo. The phone beside the button is AIVA at $200 one-time. Get AIVA — $200.

Finish the Google listing before you blame the button

Book Online sits on a Google Business Profile. If the name, the hours, the nail-salon category, and the photos are thin, the pin loses the search before anyone can tap. Photos of real sets — gel, dip, art — tell a guest this is the shop. Hours that lie create a booking you cannot keep. None of that is a Bukkii setting. It is the listing.

What the program is, and why you cannot toggle it inside Google yourself, is reserve with Google. What the tap writes onto the calendar is Google Reserve.

Make the menu match the floor

A nail salon loses the booking when “manicure” hides four different lengths. Split gel fill, dip, acrylic, full set, and pedi, and store the duration the tech actually needs. A first acrylic should not occupy a polish slot. The public book for that menu is the online booking calendar, and the Maps-specific version is Google Reserve for nail salons.

Staff do not add a per-tech fee on Calendar. Adding the Saturday tech does not change the $20. That limit is the point of unlimited-staff booking calendar.

Turn the button on with Calendar

Bukkii submits the salon to Reserve with Google during onboarding. The product page says Google’s review is about 7–14 business days, and it reports a higher conversion on the Book Online button than on those salons’ own website booking pages. Use that page for the number. This article is the setup list, not a second study.

There is no separate Google Reserve invoice on the pricing card. The button is part of Calendar. It does not answer the phone, and it does not include voice minutes.

A Maps booking still needs a deposit rule

More bookings that do not show up are not more revenue. Long work — full set, acrylic, a long fill — is where a deposit earns its place. You choose the amount and you say it applies to the ticket. Put that sentence on the booking page and in what AIVA is allowed to say. Templates: appointment deposit policy and cancellation policy for a nail salon. The phone path is AI receptionist that takes deposits and nail salon deposit booking.

The booking page says Stripe’s standard charge is 2.9% + 30¢ per deposit transaction. That is Stripe’s fee. We are not adding a Bukkii percentage on top, and we are not quoting another booking app’s rate.

People still tap Call

Book Online and Call sit on the same listing. A regular who wants Tina, or who wants the deposit explained, will call. If every tech is in product, that call dies. AIVA answers, books the skill you tagged, and texts the time. $200 one-time. No monthly plan fee. No free trial. Hear her at (215) 791-6766.

She is not the POS. If Square already holds the deposit and the ticket, keep Square and read Square Appointments deposit. If the only hole is the line during a service, the broader page is keep Vagaro or Booksy and add the phone.

FAQ

How do I get more bookings with Google Reserve?

Finish the Google Business Profile, make the nail menu and durations match the floor, and turn on Book Online through a Google booking partner. On Bukkii that partner path is Calendar at $20/month, with unlimited staff and unlimited customers. The button does not answer the phone.

Does the Book Online button replace the Call button?

No. Call stays on the listing. Guests who want a named tech or a deposit explained still phone. AIVA answers that line for $200 one-time. No monthly plan fee. No free trial. Calendar does not answer calls.

Why would a Google booking still no-show?

A long set with no deposit is easy to abandon. Put the same deposit rule on the booking page and on the phone, for the services you choose. The amount is your policy. AIVA can ask for it on the call and text the link.

How long before Book Online can create bookings?

The Reserve with Google product page says Google’s review takes about 7–14 business days after Bukkii submits the salon. There is nothing to optimize on the button until that review finishes. Until then, guests see a website link.

Do I need a new POS to get the Google button?

No. Keep the checkout you have. Calendar is the booking website and Google Reserve. We do not claim a sync into Square or another register, and we do not quote their prices.
