Pricing model
Goodcall sells monthly plans. On goodcall.com/pricing, as of October 30, 2026, Starter is $79 a month, aimed at a solo operator who misses calls while on the job. Growth is $129 a month, marked "most popular," for a busy shop that books work by phone every day. Scale is $299 a month for multiple locations or a team that's on calls all day. Enterprise covers more than 2,000 customers a month, with volume pricing, onboarding, and an SLA. The page doesn't list an Enterprise dollar amount, so we won't guess one.
The same pricing page says there's no per-minute charge. The answering-services page repeats the three public prices and calls minutes unlimited. Goodcall's pricing FAQ also describes a free demo agent: you build it, you listen to it, and you pay once you connect a number. That demo is Goodcall's. AIVA has no free trial.
AIVA, on bukkii.ai/pricing the same day, is $200 one-time. No free trial, no monthly fee, no contract. That payment covers a dedicated number, training on your menu and policies, calendar setup, and call forwarding, plus 100 voice minutes and 1,500 SMS. After that, voice is $0.35 a minute and SMS is $0.035. Packs never expire. Get AIVA — $200. Hear her at (215) 791-6766.
Bukkii Calendar is a separate product, and it does not answer the phone. Calendar is free for up to 3 staff and includes the booking website. The $20-a-month plan adds unlimited staff and customers, plus Reserve with Google. Email reminders come with the $20 plan. Reserve with Google is not on the free plan.
What counts toward the bill
Goodcall counts unique customers. Its pricing FAQ defines that as one phone number, once a month. If the same person calls five times in March, that's one customer. Two different people count as two. Spam and wrong numbers don't count at all. The same FAQ says there are no charges for minutes, calls, or tokens. On that meter, a thirty-second call and a nine-minute booking cost the same.
Go past your included customers, and the page says nothing breaks. Extra customers are billed at the plan's own rate: 79¢ on Starter, 26¢ on Growth, and 15¢ on Scale. There's no penalty rate. The plan cards also list Goodcall's own call estimates: about 150 calls a month on Starter, about 750 on Growth, and about 3,000 on Scale. Those are Goodcall's estimates, not a count of a nail shop's Saturday.
The cards also cap workers and external tools. A worker is a specialist inside the agent, like a booker or a message taker. The operator and the greeter don't count toward that cap. An external tool is an API, an MCP server, or a code block. Transfers and hang-ups don't count as tools. Starter lists 5 workers and 1 external tool, Growth lists 10 workers and 5 external tools, and Scale lists 20 workers and 15 external tools. Those caps limit what each plan can do. The price itself follows unique customers.
AIVA's meter is minutes and texts. The $200 payment includes 100 voice minutes and 1,500 SMS. After that, you pay $0.35 per voice minute and $0.035 per SMS. A long call costs more than a short one, and a repeat caller still uses minutes. Packs never expire. The included SMS cover post-booking texts.
Setup and phone number
Goodcall's pricing FAQ says there's no separate fee for a phone number. Every plan includes a local number, and you can keep the number you already have by forwarding it. The homepage FAQ says you can forward calls when the line is busy or unanswered, or forward every call if you prefer. You can also pick a new local number in your area code. The homepage says callers are told they're speaking with an AI assistant.
AIVA's setup, per the pricing page checked October 30, 2026, is call forwarding from the shop's existing number. The $200 payment includes a dedicated number, training on your menu and policies, calendar setup, and that forwarding. The number on your door and on Google stays with your phone company. You just forward it. This page does not describe number porting for AIVA.
Booking and calendar
On a nail floor, the appointment has to land in a book. Goodcall's answering-services page, read October 30, 2026, says the agent books into Google Calendar or texts a booking link, and transfers to your team when a person is needed. The same page says Google Calendar, Google Sheets, and HighLevel connect natively, with more than 10,000 apps available through Zapier. The Zapier page says call events can trigger workflows like creating a lead or updating a CRM, including scheduling workflows you set up in Zapier. The pricing page points readers to Zapier for existing agents and describes an external tool as an API, an MCP server, or code you write.
None of those Goodcall pages name Vagaro, Booksy, Fresha, GlossGenius, or Square. If your gel and fill book has to stay in one of those, check with Goodcall before you count on a two-way write. The homepage shows a Google Calendar connection in its builder example, but that example is a plumber, not a nail menu.
AIVA books on Bukkii Calendar. This page does not claim that AIVA writes appointments into Vagaro, Booksy, Fresha, GlossGenius, or Square. The nail menu, chair setup, and forwarding are covered on the nail salon page. Calendar does not answer the phone. The free plan is $0 for up to 3 staff and includes the booking website. The $20 plan adds unlimited staff and customers, plus Reserve with Google. Email reminders come with the $20 plan.
Languages callers hear
AIVA answers callers in English only. AIVA does not answer callers in Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, or Korean. You can read this page in Spanish or Vietnamese, but the phone voice stays English. If a caller needs Spanish or Vietnamese, AIVA is the wrong tool for that call.
Goodcall's answering-services page says callers are answered in English or Spanish, and its FAQ says the same. The Goodcall pages we read on October 30, 2026 don't name Vietnamese, Chinese, or Korean. If your shop needs Vietnamese on the phone, check Goodcall's current page before you buy. "English or Spanish" on that page doesn't mean Vietnamese.
Texting
Goodcall's answering-services page says the agent can text a booking link and that leads reach you by text and email. The homepage booking example shows a text on the customer's phone and another on the team's phone when an appointment is booked. A separate homepage example shows a new-lead text. The pricing page we read doesn't list a separate per-text price. Based on the pages that describe it, texting is part of the unique-customer product.
AIVA includes 1,500 SMS, then $0.035 per SMS. Those included messages cover post-booking texts. The pricing page lists the 1,500 SMS on the AI Receptionist side of the comparison table, and the FAQ says SMS is included. Packs never expire.
Salon fit
Goodcall's own plan cards describe a solo operator who misses calls while working, a busy shop that books by phone every day, and businesses with multiple locations. The homepage examples are a plumber, a real-estate lead, a calendar that looks like a clinic's, and a store answering a stock question. That's a general small-business phone agent, not a published nail menu.
Goodcall is a better fit than AIVA in four plain cases. You run a general small business, and your book doesn't have to live on Bukkii Calendar. A lot of your calls are the same people calling back, since one phone number counts only once that month. You already book on Google Calendar, or you plan to move leads through Zapier. Your callers need English or Spanish on the line. Goodcall's answering-services page says the agent answers in those two languages. AIVA answers in English only.
AIVA fits a US nail salon whose callers can book in English, that will keep appointments on Bukkii Calendar, and whose owner would rather pay $200 one-time than sign up for a monthly unique-customer plan. The $200 payment includes training on your menu and policies. Gel, dip, fill, and acrylic are covered on the nail salon page. AIVA does not answer in Spanish or Vietnamese. Calendar does not answer the phone.
A quick word on other options, without restating their prices here. Rosie, Dialzara, Ruby, Smith.ai, RingCentral, Fresha's phone add-on, Booksy's phone beta, and GlossGenius Reception each handle a different job. The dated table is in AI receptionists for nail salons compared. On that page, Ruby and Smith.ai's human tier are the live-person options. Fresha, Booksy, and GlossGenius are the options when the appointment has to stay inside that platform's book. This page doesn't reprint their October prices.
Final verdict
Based on pages read October 30, 2026, here's who each product suits. It's not a ranking.
Goodcall is the better fit if you run a general small business, if the same callers phone back often, or if you want appointments and leads to move through Google Calendar and Zapier. Goodcall is also the better fit if your callers need Spanish as well as English, because that's what Goodcall's answering-services page says, and AIVA answers callers in English only.
AIVA fits a nail salon in the United States whose callers can book in English, whose appointments should land on Bukkii Calendar, and whose owner wants a $200 one-time payment instead of a monthly unique-customer plan. Get started. Both cards are on the pricing page.
If your book has to stay in Vagaro, Booksy, Fresha, or GlossGenius, keep in mind that the Goodcall pages we read don't name those platforms, and this page doesn't claim that AIVA writes into them either. Use that platform's own phone tool, or read the wider comparison before you move your book.
