A booking widget is an embed, not a new business
Search booking widget and the promise is a box on a page you already have: pick a service, pick a time, stay on your domain. That is a real need when a designer already built the salon site and you do not want to send people away. Our terms describe a Bukkii booking widget as one of the places a client can enter a mobile number and opt into texts. The widget is part of how the book is shown. It is not a second product with its own price, and it is not the phone.
The plan that pays for the book is Calendar at $20/month: booking website, Google Reserve, email reminders, unlimited staff, unlimited customers. It does not answer calls. Get Calendar — $20/mo.
Most nail shops are not waiting on an embed
A nail floor often has a Google Business Profile, an Instagram bio, and a number painted on the window. There is no homepage to drop a widget into. For that shop the booking website is the page, and Google Reserve is the button on Maps. Start there. The walkthrough is salon online booking and the nail version nail salon online booking. How the profile should point at a real URL is online booking SEO.
If you do have a site, link the booking website from the header, the Instagram bio, and the Google profile. An embed is a convenience for people already on that site. It does not replace the map button. Turning the button on for a nail shop is Google Reserve for a nail salon.
What the widget must still know
- Nail services with real durations, not a single “appointment” block.
- The tech the client asked for, when that matters.
- The same menu if you later add hair or lashes. New services, not a second widget.
Choosing the software under the embed is booking software for salons. The product page is online booking.
A widget does not hear the phone
Someone who calls the shop never sees the widget. She hears a ring. If nobody answers, she books the next name on the map. AIVA is $200 one-time for that ring. Calendar, widget or booking website, leaves the phone alone. There is no free trial of either plan. We also do not claim the widget syncs into Vagaro, Booksy, Square, or Mangomint.
Live chat bubbles on marketing sites are a different widget. This page is only about the booking book.
Two offers: AIVA on the phone, Calendar on the book
A widget is a way to show the book. It is not a phone plan and it is not a free trial. Prices below are from bukkii.ai/pricing on September 22, 2026. This page does not quote competitor prices.
AIVA — the phone layer — $200 one-time
AIVA is the AI receptionist for inbound calls. She answers the shop number, books the service, and texts the appointment. $200 one-time. No monthly plan fee. No free trial. The payment covers a dedicated number, training on your menu, calendar setup for that phone layer, and forwarding, plus 100 voice minutes and 1,500 SMS. Get AIVA — $200. Hear her at (215) 791-6766.
Calendar — the booking layer — $20/month
Calendar is the booking website plus Google Reserve — the Book Online button on Google Maps — and email reminders. $20/month. Unlimited staff. Unlimited customers. It does not answer the phone. Get Calendar — $20/mo.
FAQ
What is a booking widget for a salon?
It is the booking book embedded on a website the business already has, so a client can choose a service and a time without leaving that site. Bukkii’s terms recognize a booking widget as one place a client can enter a phone number. The published Calendar offer is still the booking website plus Google Reserve at $20/month. It does not answer the phone.
What if my nail shop has no website?
Use the booking website that comes with Calendar and turn on Reserve with Google. Clients book from your link or from the Book Online button on Maps. You do not need a custom site before the book exists.
Does a booking widget replace Google Reserve?
No. A widget serves people who already found your website. Google Reserve serves people who found you on Maps. Calendar at $20/month includes the booking website and Reserve with Google. Unlimited staff. Unlimited customers.
Will the widget answer calls?
No. Embedding the book does not pick up the shop number. AIVA is $200 one-time for inbound calls. There is no free trial.
Is the booking widget a separate monthly price?
The plan we sell for the book is Calendar at $20/month. That price is the booking website, Google Reserve, email reminders, unlimited staff, and unlimited customers. It is not a free widget and it is not a free trial.
